Women in Ministry?

I have recently come to a new and better understanding of 1 Timothy 2:11 & 12. It offers an affirmation that gender is not sufficient to prevent God's call from being issued to anyone. Please dialogue with me on this issue. You can do so here or on my slightly more argumentative blog as well:

1Tim. 2:11-12 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. (Today's New International Version)

Don't be chicken; check it out.
