A Vision and Mission
This is the in-progress mission and vision statement. Please feel free to suggest revisions and even an alternate target area.
Our Mission Statement:
Our mission is to explore and express a loving Christ within our present, cultural contexts. We proclaim an ever relevant Jesus without ever relativizing truth. We thirst to know God and help others know him, and to love him by loving people.
Our Vision Statement:
We quest to redefine cultural stereotypes of what it means to be a "Christian" by becoming people known for their love and acceptance while remaining committed to the life altering power of God. Our primary theatre of operations is the secular, liberal arts university campus, but will have interdependent and collaborative efforts with the surrounding Christian communities. We are reverse missionaries: Instead of our traveling abroad to communicate Jesus, students come to us. We will send them back out to all corners of the earth with the message of Christ and typecast as a new kind of Christian.
