MP 3: Cassiodorus

1 comment:

  1. Founder of the monastic community at Vivarium (Italy), where he established an important library, arranged the copying and translation of Christian and secular (Greek and Latin) texts. His other main contribution was that he connected ancient, classical Christian civilization to the medieval world of monks and barbarians. His highest values were human rights and order in general.
